Restaurant POS Price in Lebanon (2026): What You Really Pay

How restaurant POS pricing works in Lebanon: one-time licence vs monthly subscription, what plans include, hidden costs to ask about, and what CeevTech Restaurant ERP costs.

"How much is a POS?" is usually the first question a restaurant owner asks, and the hardest one to compare. One vendor quotes a one-time price, another a monthly fee, a third charges per terminal, and a fourth adds "modules" later. This guide explains how restaurant POS pricing works in Lebanon, what you should expect to be included, and the costs that often appear after you sign.

The two pricing models

One-time licence (installed POS)

You pay once for the software, which is installed on a computer in your restaurant. It can look cheaper at first, but check what happens next: updates, support visits and new features are often paid separately, and your data lives on one machine. If that computer fails, you depend on a technician and on your last backup.

Monthly subscription (cloud POS)

You pay a fixed monthly or yearly fee. Hosting, backups, updates and support are normally included, and you can see your restaurant from your phone wherever you are. The cost is predictable, there is no big upfront payment, and you can upgrade or add features as you grow.

For most restaurants, cafés and snack shops in Lebanon, a cloud subscription is now the safer choice, as long as the system keeps working through power cuts and weak internet. Pair it with a small UPS for the router and the main terminal.

What should be included in the price

Before comparing numbers, make sure you are comparing the same thing. A complete restaurant POS price should cover:

  • Tables and orders: opening tables, taking orders, splitting and closing bills.
  • Dollar and lira: an exchange rate you can update quickly, so you can price and collect in USD and LBP.
  • Menu and recipe costing: so you know the real cost and margin of each dish.
  • Stock and waste: ingredients deducted on every sale, with waste and voids tracked.
  • Reports: daily sales, cashier closings and profit after food cost.
  • Hosting, backups, updates and support: these should not be extras.

Hidden costs to ask about

  • Setup or installation fees. Is setup included, or a separate invoice?
  • Per-terminal or per-user fees. Will a second cashier or a waiter tablet raise your bill?
  • Paid modules. Are delivery, loyalty, stock or reports sold separately?
  • Support contracts. Is support included, or charged per visit or per year?
  • Year-two price. Is the first-year price a discount that disappears?
  • Leaving. Can you export your menu, sales and customer data if you switch?

Hardware (a terminal, receipt printer, kitchen printer and cash drawer) is a separate cost with any system. Ask whether the POS works with hardware you already own.

What CeevTech Restaurant ERP costs

We built our restaurant POS in Jbeil for restaurants, cafés and snacks in Lebanon. Pricing is simple, per month and billed yearly:

  • Basic: $50 per month. Tables and orders, the LBP rate page, menu and recipe costing, stock, waste, expenses and a profit dashboard.
  • Pro: $80 per month. Adds tables by customer name and reservations, delivery controls, a public menu page for customers' phones, a full loyalty programme with customer login, staff roles and staff meals.
  • Ultra: $100 per month. Adds attendance tracking, a staff mobile app for Android and iOS, SMS marketing and offers, customer feedback, call-the-waiter, security overrides and audit logs.

Every plan includes your own subdomain with SSL, daily backups, setup and support from our team. The first month of the full Ultra plan is free, with no payment needed, and a restaurant can be live within 24 hours. You can move from Basic to Pro or Ultra at any time and the new features unlock on your existing system. See the full details on our restaurant POS page or the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a restaurant POS cost in Lebanon?

It depends on the pricing model. With CeevTech Restaurant ERP, it costs $50 (Basic), $80 (Pro) or $100 (Ultra) per month, billed yearly, with hosting, backups, setup and support included. The first month of Ultra is free.

Is a cloud POS better than an installed POS?

For most restaurants, yes. A cloud POS keeps your data safe online, lets you check the restaurant from your phone and is updated automatically. Ask any vendor how it behaves when the internet drops.

Does the price include hardware?

No. Terminals, printers and cash drawers are a separate purchase with any POS. Ask whether you can reuse hardware you already have.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. CeevTech gives the first month of the full Ultra plan free, without payment.
